After giving him the answer in the second half of Habakkuk 2:4 but the righteous will live by his faith—, God goes on to pronounce five woes on the Babylonians. Last week we took a brief look at the entire Book of Habakkuk along with seeing his first complaints. He complained about what he called injustice. Things weren’t going how Habakkuk thought they should, and naturally, he pushed the blame onto God. Last week, we made it about halfway through our message on where we find our Confidence. My prayer has been that we would celebrate Christ’s resurrection daily as we live out the “Christ life.” Living in this manner brings continual joy to our lives, and it provides hope to those around us.
