June 12, 2017, will be the one-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. There has been a startling increase in attacks on America’s Jewish community across California and the entire country these past few weeks in response to Hamas firing rockets from Gaza into Israel, prompting a legitimate military response from Israel.  Particularly disturbing, was the targeting of Jewish diners near West Hollywood, just blocks from where I live, by “Free Palestine” protesters.
