The stakes were high, as the winners would advance to represent the United States at the World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. Four of the top current USA Muaythai athletes touched down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from October 26-30 to take part in one of the most celebrated events in combat sports — the World Combat Games. Everyone was able to get a glimpse into the future of USA Muaythai last month as Hammond, Indiana hosted the first-ever USA Muaythai 2023 Summer Games, which included the Youth National Championships and Adult Novice National Championships. The winners of the Youth National Championships will represent USA Muaythai at the IFMA Youth World Championships in Turkey later this year. USA Muaythai had an incredible and historic experience at the 2023 IFMA World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. The team had a unique blend of both IFMA veterans and athletes making their debut in international competition, representing USA Muaythai for the first time.
