Sad Satan
Urbane Legends

This week we delve into the area of computers known mysteriously as the 'Dark Webs', well we dont obviously but someone might of, to the legendry game called 'Sad Satan'. Now you may think by the title that Satan or Ol' Nick as I know him, would feature heavily or have some kind of basic involvement. Well you may well be wrong there as we're we but two worse character turn up at some point. It's a corridor simulator basically and reminds me of a lot of games I have bought on Steam which were early access but turned out to be a cash grab (Bum Simulator, im looking at you). More importantly we ..read more

Letta the Doll
Urbane Legends
by Chris Flynn & Neil Herbert
1w ago
Yes indeed! It's our annual look at a haunted doll. With each year the story gets thinner BUT this one was taken to psychics for analysis so the science is there. It's Australia's next Hollywood star and is sure to eclipse Scarlett Johanson, Russel Crow and Jim Crocodile 'Dundee' (not many people know his name was Jim Crocodile, the 'Dundee' part was the nickname due to his love of the Scottish football team of the same name). If you can get to Walla walla you can have a photo with the haunted toy for 5 buckeroos. There might be some filler as well Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for mo ..read more

Skinwalkers
Urbane Legends
by Chris Flynn & Neil Herbert
2w ago
This week the podcast and the people who speak on it look at the strange world of the Skinwalkers. They are an ancient and malevolent creature, are they still man or are they now beast? Or, like most of us, a little of both. They have been connected with all kinds of other paranormal activity and became a weird trend on Tictok during the pandemic when we were all 100% in our strongest mental place. We attempt to treat the topic with required respect but are self aware enough to know we more than likely haven't. There is other stuff but I cant remember. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. This week we take a poke around the Vatican to see whats all this we hear about super science, uber tech and digital occultism. Some Priest made some pretty big claims and said he and some famous/infamous scientists got their heads together to create something amazing. You will notice I am dancing what this particular thing is, I read in a 'guide to good sex' from 1972 that it often best to keep some mystery and will make the object of your affection desire you more, and in this instance you, potential listener are the object of this podcasts desire (for improved analytics) so why dont you mak ..read more

Don Decker
Urbane Legends
by Chris Flynn & Neil Herbert

This week on Urgent Lemons, the podcast that may be sceptical but is never cynical, we meet Don Decker in genuinely the most intriguing case of possible possession that we have come across. He gains some strange but ultimately harmless powers, like a weak X Man (discussed) but the really interesting thing is the sheer amount of witnesses who gave statements. It was a lot of fun to do and Neil really throws himself into the reading, like he has been given a new lease of life! So many thanks to the hobo who 'donated' several organs to him this week. Dobhar-Chu
Urbane Legends
by Chris Flynn & Neil Herbert

This week we take a mental trip back our ancestral homeland the Island called Ireland to check out the 'King of the Otters' or 'King of the Lakes' Dobhar-Chu (pronounced Doo-war Coo to the uninitiated, obviously Neils and Chris both speak and read fluent Gallic). Its a mixed up cryptid, sometimes known as Ireland answer to a Crocodile and there have been sightings from the 17th Century to the 2000's. But, here's the kicker, its not one crazy mother, its a whole species, possibly migratory. Fast as a horse, loves to eat a hu-man, equally adept on land or in water, this baby really ticks all the ..read more

Havana Syndrome
Urbane Legends

Havana, big cigars, Rum, sexy dancing and secret weapons?! This week we look at the ongoing confusion around Havana Syndrome, a medical issue that has been reported by CIA staff (Chief Information Army) and their Canadian equivalent that affects the mind, ears and guts and probably more. And we here at Urbane Legends clear up the confusion, go point by point over the facts and science and finally reveal, indisputably, what it is. Neils also a prospect for a pack of wild dogs and other stuff. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information ..read more

Beast of Bladenboro
Urbane Legends
by Chris Flynn & Neil Herbert

This week is another 'Beast of....' episode in this surprisingly Beast based first half of the series, its the (possibly) vampiric beast of Bladenboro. Its original reign of terror was back in the 50's but it may have made a comeback in 2007, like the Pompadour hair cut. Its an animal of some kind, a bear cat, a hairy otter, a rabbit thats 8 foot long with massive fangs and a penchant for jazz, a 4 legged turkey with two robot arms that escapes on a longboard, no one really agrees on which of these not made up by me creatures it is. It's bad news for dogs and goats though and no mistakin' but ..read more

In this weeks episode we enter the world of Interplanetary Being Communications (IBC) and look at the possible US black budget secret project, names Serpo. Tying in with Roswell and other stuff was there an exchange with some friendly grey lads? And did some Hu-mans go to their planet on a sort of foreign exchange programme? Does an Alien die willingly to consummate its love with a scientist? And what is the Alien home world like? All this will be answered in the next hour or so. Plus Chris finally shows some contrition to the listeners and does a song about some people in his beloved home cit ..read more

MoMo - The Missouri Monster
Urbane Legends
by Chris Flynn & Neil Herbert
2M ago
Well ladies and gentlemen we may have found the most boring monster ever, MoMo. There is little to redeem the subject of this episode and perhaps the episode itself beyond being loyal or a complitionist. Chris gets fooled into reading an article which is meant to be about the creature but seems to be a voice to text recording of someone who has sniffed too many solvents and the guys get increasingly irate. Though from the ashes of story and possibly the final nail in the coffin of the podcast maybe there are shoots of a new film franchise ? Hosted on Acast.
