We are kicking off our 2021 season with indoor cricket at #youthcricketwi. With a updated coaching schedule, inclusion of #NxLevel advanced sessions and explosive indoor games, there is something in 2021 for Wisconsin cricketers. With Wisconsin weather limiting outdoor cricket to summer months, we have to move indoors. The harsh cold months makes it hard to have physical activities. The comeback year of cricket in Wisconsin was unpredictable but fruitful. Restoring the level of pre-pandemic engagement and reaching new milestones was a pat on the back for the athletes and organization. Youth Cricket in Wisconsin is only a few years old. Having started with 6 youth athletes, we are now looking to celebrate our third year, 65+ kids, multiple counties in our second Annual Parent/Child tournament. The tournament is intended to promote parents role modeling and playing cricket with the youth. It is geared towards beginners and intermediate skill cricketers looking to get into competition level for cricket. We are proud to announce Karan and Rohit (last names withheld) will be representing the Midwest teams in the Cupertino, CA and Dallas, TX tournaments over the 4th July Holidays! Youth Cricket of Wisconsin (YCW) is conducting youth cricket coaching in Madison area. The journey is evolving with 5 interested families looking to formalize their cricket coaching for the next generation. YCW is a non-profit organization started with an idea to give back to the community through youth sport.
