As the 2024 election cycle quickly approaches, I am reminded of words spoken by then President Barack Obama that “elections have consequences.” The words were directed at congressional Republicans in a meeting about his economic proposals. Dear Editor, I was disappointed to read that football coach Steve Sell is so dismissive of female sports and the women who have fought for years for the right to compete fairly.
