Contractors in Burnaby required to keep waste out of landfills

The new Construction and Demolition Waste Diversion bylaw adopted by the City of Burnaby, B.C., earlier this month, is mandating that at least 70 per cent of waste created from building demolitions must be diverted from landfills.
