South Bend Cubs are on a two game winning streak. They beat the Lansing Lugnuts on the road today 9 to 3. Jefferson Rojas has a base hit in 16 games in a row, the best active streak in both the Midwest League and all of High-A. Brett Bateman had three hits in the game today and is currently batting .352 and Bateman’s on-bases streak sits now at 10 games. Ethan Hearn homered in the 9th. South Bend Cubs Cubs tied the game at 5 runs a piece in the 8th inning when Felix Stevens homers to right field. The SB Cubs score three runs in top of 9th: Jonathon Long RBI single that scored Pedro Ramirez to make 6 to 5 Cubs, then Felix Stevens doubles right field that scores Jonathon Long and Parker Chavers to put the Cubs up 8 to 5. Pedro Ramirez had four hits in the game. Jefferson Rojas had a hit, he now has a 15 game hitting streak.
