I’ve stayed across from the Conrad Hilton the last 8 out of 10 trips to Tokyo. I’ve watched their guests swim in their lap pool from across the chasm separating my room from their property, and I’ve always wondered if I should splurge the extra cash to stay there… but I’ve never done so. Burlington – how lucky we were to be visiting in mid June. Quiet, quaint, and quintessential New England. I loved it here. A breath of fresh air, literally and figuratively. Lunchtime at TTRA would require me sitting in front of a computer working, sadly. Rather than peruse the limited in room dining menu at the Hilton Lake Champlain, I explored sandwich options within walking distance and settled on the Top of the Block. Shop local!
