Shawarma is one of my favorite foods, and I’ve made it a few times on this here blog. I can’t remember if I dreamt this burger up, or saw somebody else make it. Either way, I had to try one myself and I’m glad I did as it’s one of my new favorites!
why you’ll dig vegan Shawarma Burgers
The first time I made these was just recently for a friend’s BBQ over Memorial Day weekend. Everyone gobbled them up! It’s pretty awesome to get Shawarma Flavors in a easy to transport and coo ..read more

20 Sweet & Savory Vegan Munchies Recipes for when that Hunger Hits You!
As somebody who has partaken in the devil’s lettuce for most of my life, I know that the Munchies can hit pretty hard! For me, it’s usually an hour or so after imbibing.
So personally, I don’t mind making something that takes a little while. Not only can it be fun and creative, but the anticipation seems to make the food taste that much better!
Still, I know what it’s like to be like “I’M HUNGRY NOW” so a bunch of these are ready with minimal effort and time as well. That said, a lot of these can be prepped ahead of t ..read more

The classic little burger from McDonald’s, only we are making these VEGAN Cheeseburgers, identical (and better) than the original!
McDonald’s has been making these little cheeseburgers since the 1940s, and I started eating them 40 years later! In fact in the 90s, they would go on special for 39¢ every Wednesday and me and my pals would go gorge ourselves on them. I would typically eat about 7 – 10 of ’em and then feel awful of course.
Well, since we are making these Vegan Cheeseburgers, you won’t feel nearly as awful (though I don’t suggest you eat 10 of them either!)

The Original Double Decker Burger, 30 years older than the Big Mac, only we are making this guy into a VEGAN BIG BOY!
Growing up my family went to the original Bob’s Big Boy quite often. Usually when we would visit my grandparents. I always loved it and I always ordered a Big Boy! I rarely was able to finish it, but when I did I was rewarded with a Hot Fudge Sundae Cake! Which I definitely never finished!
Suffice to say, I enjoy these just as much if not more, and I think you will too!

A Vegan Sourdough Jack as good if not better than the original! I should know as I’ve eaten no less than 1000 of these!
Next to Carl’s Jr. and Del Taco, Jack in the Box was one of my favorite fast food places. It was cheap, they were open late and they catered to dirtbags like me. I ordered this burger all the time! So of course I had to make a Vegan Sourdough Jack to relive my old not so glory days!
If you’re unfamiliar, the Sourdough Jack is one of the old school, underrated burgers at Jack in the Box. It’s pretty simple, just comprised of a cheeseburger with bacon, tomato and ketchup and m ..read more

A Vegan Smash Burger like Shake Shack is easy when you know how to properly smash and make the amazing Shack Sauce! It’s a simple but delicious creation!
Today we are VEGANIZING the famous Shack Burger! It’s a pretty simple cheeseburger with a couple of cool components. First is that Shack Sauce! It’s a solid burger sauce, however I’m using the recipe from the Shack Shack book. They make the caveat that the recipes in the book are not EXACTLY like the ones in the restaurant, but “close enough” which I think is fair to be honest. That being said, when making the Shack Sauce like the book, I fo ..read more

If you’re a vegan in California and miss In-N-Out, or if you’ve never had one and want to know what all the hoopla is about, these VEGAN In-N-Out Burgers are for you!
Growing up in Southern California, I’ve eaten my fair share of Animal Style Double Doubles from In-N-Out, and I gotta say, this recipe comes shockingly close to what I remember (my non-vegan neighbor said they were “Spot On!”) In fact, I dare say they are better for a few reasons. First, you don’t have to leave your house and deal with the never ending drive-thru line at In-N-Out. Which is actually why I learned to make these ye ..read more

The ICONIC New York Sandwich but plant-based, a VEGAN Chopped Cheese! Cheesy, beefy goodness on a roll. Too good not to share!!
Living my entire life in Southern California, I had never heard of a Chopped Cheese until a few folks requested I make one. Within the first five minutes of researching it, I knew I had to whip one up as soon as possible!
At first, you might think it’s like a Philly Cheesesteak, but you’d be wrong. It’s really more like an amazing Cheeseburger on a hero roll, and that’s the reason why I fell in love with it! I’ve made these a few times over the past few years, and r ..read more
