Does anyone had problem/experience with crankcase breathing problem?
Because I'm having issues with it. In the breather tube (from the camshaft cover) the crankcase casses are too ''rich'' to much oil getting into the intake tubing.

Hi,
I've been asked to find a replacement cylinder head, they specifically mentioned to me that their engine has a distributor, is non-turbo and without a turbine, but I only see one engine version which is a 18K4F.
This leads me to ask, are there variations of this engine like ebay suggests with:
1) 1.8 i 16v and
2) 1.8 (non-i) 16v
that I need to be careful with in selecting the correct cylinder head?
I believe its a LDF109380L.
Looking at another post they say this component is...

I've had a Freelander 1.8 for a few years now, and it has a very odd engine problem which I think is long standing. The long term fuel trim is at -20 to -25%. Also it soots up the exhaust tail pipe under certain conditions- it seems to happen at full throttle at low revs when the engine management goes open loop. (it's MEMS3, 2005 model). There is also a rare starting problem which I think may be connected- every few months it refuses to start until the engine is cranked for half a...

Hi there everyone,
I know I have posted about this again but this time i am doing so after having got myself a genuine T4 diagnostic kit. May i ask which cables do I require in order to programme my existing Lucas 10AS to my new MEMS 1.6 ECU? Do I need the DTC0008A or the green DTC0062B? I have the DTC4007A already.

Hi all, my clutch went t'other day.....Started to feel spongy and then just went, could only get 3rd and reverse.......
I've bought a new master cylinder but I wanted to bleed the clutch first to see if that was the problem. Could always resell the cylinder if need be.
I got some fluid (Dot 4), a closed valve bleed pipe.
Method 1, I located the bleed screw, stuck the bleed pipe on it, undid the Master cylinder cover. Opened the bleed screw, raised the pedal, lowered the pedal, raised...
