When is the best time to move these plants and split them? How wide do I dig, right under it or out by the "drip edge" so to speak? I have hostas, almost as old as I am, that I need to move. As well as a Purple false indigo, Baptisia something. Google says early spring, too late, or in the fall to move it. But it claims 7ft roots! Yuuca. They're 2.5ft wide, gonna suck handling them! Stabby! Daffodil. some weird things that may be daylily or something. Spread out random, so will be a... Read more ..read more

Siegel Gale employee Daniel Alonso is a child molester. He rubbed my 6 year old son in the groin. Daniel Alonso works at home, 64 Hill Top Lane, Rockledge, Florida, 32955. Also in the house is Margaret Ida Alonso. I tried calling the cops, they were useless. So Alonso's license plates are BC73DM (grayish silver), 8033VC (red convertible/roadster) and 1625XN (black silver Honda). Scroll down, and there's a picture of Daniel Alonso on a Monday morning when he was supposed to be at work. Don't... Read more ..read more

Hey everyone, I was planning on getting a new plant to restart my gardening experience. I left my two plants up north during a move and haven't gotten to get new ones since. I want to get a blue hydrangea plant. I was looking for any tips or advice for getting this plant. I don't have much experience, and when I did have one. It rarely bloomed, always stayed in the leafy green stage. I don't want to go cheap and buy from like Lowes or Walmart. So, my plans are going to a nursery nearby the... Read more ..read more

Peony planting questions
The Easy Garden » Flowers & Roses

I've never grown peonies before, but this year I got three bare roots from The Home Depot. If I plant the bare roots early enough (say, March-early April), is there a possibility they might bloom this year? I feel like I heard somewhere that if they grow enough roots by blooming time there is a chance they might bloom first year. Is this true? Also, exactly how early can you plant them? I'm in Zone 6 ..read more

Should I plant my clematis?

So I don't know what to do with my four clematis plants that I bought from the store, they are all sprouted with little three to five inch shoots, I didn't think of it at the time but now I realize maybe I should get them planted, I don't know, will it hurt them just to leave the sprouted clematis roots in the package dry? I'm not sure if I can plant them outside in the garden yet because it's still frosting and freezing at night and it won't be frost free until late April. I know clematis... Read more ..read more
