Lately I've been jamming off and on with an informal jam group. They are all 30 or 40 years younger than me. They are free form jams where someone just starts playing then everyone joins in. Even the lyrics are usually free form. They often use chatgpt to make up the lyrics as they are singing. It is not great music by any means. Bought a mid-priced acoustic, didn't come with a case or bag. So, bought a gigbag. Within one week, the top strap had disintegrated at the joint. The next time I went to Ottawa, I brought the bag back (25 Apr) and asked if I could get a replacement.
I waited around for fifteen - 20 minutes while they hunted one down. They brought it out and then said I can't have it. Yup, you read that right. They told me the owner instructed them not to replace the bag. They said they're going to send a...

This gal has gone through some difficult things in her life which should touch all of our hearts. It's good to see she is still smiling and singing. There are not a lot of performers I would like to meet but she is one of them. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about her.
