My first serious handgun was a 4” Colt King Cobra .357 that I bought late in the last century. Added a Taurus 66 to the stable. Eventually replaced them with a S&W 686+ and a S&W 696 (3” five-shot .44 Special in stainless that I stupidly sold. Worst decision of my ~35 years of gun trading). I also had a S&W 617 (6” stainless steel .22LR revolver. Meet the second-worst gun trade I made.). Probably 95% of the rounds fired by my revolvers were double action.

I had a primer blow up in one of my 6mm Coopers over the holidays. Did not hurt the bolt face but did damage the extractor.
Contacted the dealer where I purchased it from years ago and he suggested Corlanes to fix the extractor as they had done work for him years ago.
Emailed Corlanes and they told me that getting parts for a Cooper is very difficult but they should be able to fix it with other manufactures parts as they are pretty similar.
They however don’t seem to be very interested...
