Anyone else noticing sound issues with Yankees broadcasts?  The commercials seem very loud compared to the play by play.  Earlier in the season, it also seemed the first few words out of Michael Kay each inning were loud then at a normal volume.  I'm noticing this whether using the app off of Optimum.tv or directly from Amazon using Apple TV.  Is anyone else noticing this?   I'm concerned that with Amazon getting more sports including TNF, these issues could become significant.   Never mind that YES's continued use of 720p does not make for a quality broadcast eit ..read more

This was a glaring mistake, barely covering a deadly stabbing in Deer Park, then airing old footage from a crime in Wyandanch 1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in Deer Park stabbing   They seem focused mainly on the pandemic, economic, and political news and seem to gear to white collar (mainly finance professionals) now. They have ignored a lot of crime stories that would and should be considered major news. And when they do cover it, they only spend 20-30 seconds and read from a teleprompter with no reporter sent. I'm watching from LA, so I might be misinformed. Would appreciate the group helping me out with what NYC did in terms of extended coverage for Ida last night. It seemed as if the market was woefully unprepared. I watched WCBS via their website, it appeared they had a streaming 9pm hour on CBSN New York and went for an hour at 11pm. They seemed to be the best of what I saw.   Didn't see any extra coverage on WNBC or WABC. WNYW went for about 4min at the top of the 10, then moved on to cover Ida damage in Louisiana.
