Three weeks have passed since I returned to Lençóis to do a work exchange and undertake my first videography project with one of my all-time favorite hostels: Chapada Backpackers Hostel. Down the Amazon River, our voyage started from Manaus to a magical small village in the jungle called Alto do Chão.  Spending two days by boat traveling down the Amazon River by boat with a friend I met back in Mexico was an incredible experience with some unforgettable memories, from sleeping in a hammock on a boat to seeing playful dolphins swimming around the boat to daring kids on small little boats racing up next to the moving boat to tie-up in order to sell right over the side of the boat freshly made Açai and palm hearts straight from the jungle.
