Well, Jim Corbett National Park needs no introduction. I am sure it's on every wildlife lover's list of 'must-visit' places in India. I am always fascinated by wildlife. The sheer joy of watching wild animals in their natural habitat is second to none. To be frank, till now my experience of watching wildlife is limited to just Animal Planet and National Geographic channels. But some of the wildlife related travel guides and travelogues posted here on the forum made me really interested to... Best Season to Visit Jim Corbett ..read more

I read that Jim Corbett National Park is the best place to see the endangered Bengal tiger. Has anyone been to the park? The site said that it has a large amount of visitors every year. Does that mean it's overly busy all the time? I'm thinking that means the animals are probably disturbed on a constant basis and maybe are hard to see ..read more

When I travel in America, I love to go sight seeing in forests. They are places where I find peace and grounding energies, so if I am able to travel to India soon, where would you guys suggest to go for national parks that include forests? I'm talking about long trails through thick trees, getting lost for hours in the sights and sounds of mother nature. Also, is there any animals to look out for in the forests in India at the parks ..read more

During the past couple of years, I have been hearing that the number of tigers in India is decreasing, it is such a shame as seeing tigers is something I wanted to do especially them being their natural habitat. I am doing a bit of research on tigers in India and will shortly be making a visit to India as well. A lot of the data on the internet is very outdated, and I need some updated information on how many tigers there are in India ..read more

I would like to take my family to a wildlife sanctuary within North India and out of the national parks I have researched and have cut the list short to three choices which are Sariska National Park, Ranthambore National Park and Jim Corbett. Now the dilemma starts as I don't know which one to choose out of the three given choices. I am from Delhi so distance wise all three are within driving distance. All three parks are very well known and have their own perks and experiences and... Sariska Or Jim Corbett Or Ranthambore National Park ..read more

I would like to take my kids to a tiger reserve in India, and as it would be a one-off trip, I want to make sure its a memorable one. I would like to know which is the largest tiger reserve in India. I don't have any issues with the locations as I am willing to travel by air as well. I know there are a lot of fo places which have very few tigers left, so I don't want to go to tiger reserve knowing that they only have 2-3 tigers there, which would be quite a mission to see them ..read more
