Feral Cat Records is a brand new underground independent digital record label and artist collective that cropped up at the tail end of 2023. The label / collective emerged with the release of new music from emo / hardcore project Injection and anti-music / experimental project Bloody Wallop. Since then the label has dropped its first compilation record. Entitled Odes to the Fecal Phallus, this EP was recorded live off the floor at The Dank Basement in Glovertown, Newfoundland on August 17th, 2023 and was released on October 16th, 2023 through Bandcamp and YouTube via Viridian Records. Cerebral Palsy is a brand new goregrind project from St. John’s, NL. The project has so far released four singles over a span of just a week and a few days. The first of these tracks, “Cerebral Palsy”, dropped on June 12th through Bandcamp. Since then the project has also released “Blood Boiled Human Organs in Rehab” on June 13th, “Convulsions” on June 18th, and “Artillery, Fire!” on June 21st. At first this might seem like quite the prolific output, until you realize that the longest of these songs is 8 seconds, and most of the others are between 1 and 2 seconds long. Pure goregrind style.
