I’m not sure what the rivers are like here but I’ve had a few buddies with the long tail kits from harbor freight. They’re decent, but definitely struggle in a fast current. I have an excel f4 shallow water 1860 with a 40efi mud buddy that I’ve run in some shallow rocky rivers in Idaho. It’s a great set up but it definitely can struggle loaded down going against the current, and you better keep it on plane in the extra shallow stuff. I am lucky that mine has reverse at least. If you don’t have a set up before I have my boat in town I’d be more than open to taking you out to see what you think ..read more

I gave my   1. Only harvested independent-aged cougars shall count towards the total cougar mortality cap. 2. The cougar hunting season will begin September 1 and end August 31. 3.The cap will be based on the best available estimates of cougar density and growth rate; currently those parameters are estimated at 2.3 cougars per 100 km2 and 1.13 intrinsic growth. 4.Human-related cougar mortality (cougars killed to resolve conflicts, and any other form of human-caused cougar mortality) shall NOT be counted toward the total cougar mortality cap. 5.Agree 6.PMU will close once the harves ..read more

Quote from: dan11011 on February 18, 2024, 11:51:58 AM Congrats!!  I am planning on doing this hunt as well but am struggling to decide between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Seems like Kyrgyzstan has slightly more forgiving terrain. How did you decide? This ibex is a different hunt than a Pamir or mid Asian ibex I think it’s harder to get close for those species I shot mine at 300 meters compared to the others you might have to shoot 600+ if you are a serious international hunter you will have to hunt both anyway ..read more

Quote from: huntnphool on Yesterday at 11:37:41 PM Why would you be concerned with replacing it every year, if you thought you were purchasing a quality option to begin with? Fair statement. My argument on that subject is that if there is a free no questions asked replacement policy, advocated by the store staff.... It seems like a pretty solid option So long as you maintain the "replacement policy" which with the extended plan, gives you 2 years warranty with direct in store credit   ..read more
