I played some of the first one, really liked it for an immersive experience. Still on the gaming todo list to finish the story in the first one. I'm happy to see they are releasing a new one, and it is coming before long ..read more

So I've had RimWorld on my Steam wishlist for ages, and it does go on sale, but never much of a sale. Currently I think $32 CAD, there is a new expansion out for it now at $30 CAD, but it certainly isn't a new game. Released originally in 2018. Still overwhelming positive on Steam.
Clearly Steam users love it. Any personal experience from folks on here ..read more

the studio making it only has this project going, so their homepage is only about it:

Spoiler

Anyone else pick this one up? I found the walking speed wayyyyy to slow, but quickly installed a mod to fix it and I'm loving this game. Civ IV level addictiveness and 'just one more turn' syndrome.
I really liked the original SNES Harvest Moon and loved Harvest Moon 64 so this definitely hits the spot for me ..read more

Seems that lot of former BioWare people got together again and wanted to push past what they did in Mass Effect and create a new studio - Archetype Entertainment. You can sign up at the website as a 'Founder,' but I don't know what that means yet. There's a Reddit channel open now as well

a buddy is thinking of surprising his 80 year old dad with a setup that will let him sorta 're-live' his younger days when he flew some sort of four person Cessna as a young adult in Peru. I told him I would start looking into this with a bit more serious interest and see what I can find. so, if any of you are hardcore for MSFS, do tell!
I know many of you have setups for space sims, do you play MSFS as well? if you do, what changes, adaptations do you make to have them fit the use scenario...
