How to serve others even when it’s difficult

God commands us to serve wholeheartedly in Ephesians 6:7. To do so is easy in some circumstances. But what about in those times when serving others is difficult? How can we still follow this command? For example: When it’s not reciprocated. Sometimes the most difficult times to serve others is when it’s not reciprocated. However, there isn’t a disclaimer in God’s Word telling us to serve only when the favor is returned. Rather, we are to serve others as if serving the Lord, even when it’s not appreciated. When there is no more of you to give. There is so much need in today’s world and so man ..read more

Have you ever met someone and were astounded to discover that they were a Believer? Perhaps they live a life contrary to that of a Christian. Or perhaps they act flippant about Christianity in the presence of unbelievers. To be clear at the outset: our actions are not what makes us Christians. Rather, the only way we can become a Christian is to put our full faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, believe that He died for our sins, and repent and turn from our sins. (Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 10:13; Acts 2:38-39; Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:9, etc.) However, actions are ..read more

Children, teens, and young adults are not the only ones addicted to social media, and more so, they aren’t the only ones finding their worth in reactions to their posts or in what they read on these platforms.
