So apparently I no longer know how to white balance a picture taken of a reef tank with DSLR. I made some custom color profile on my camera, which makes fairly decent jpegs and default raw (although a bit too red), but as soon as I open raw files in Lightroom or RawTherapee it all changes for the worse and regular sliders do nothing to improve things. Okay, I saw a post on FB about using the Orphek Coral Lens kit to take tank pictures. I took the plunge. About $30 and the color rendition is amazing. Bye-bye blues! Sorry for not cleaning my tank first, but I was so happy with the pictures I snapped in about 30 seconds that I just had to post! I didn't know this could happen, but a new self contained tank I set up is causing problems with sharpness when photographing something deeper in the tank. Also some chramtic aberration. It's OK when up close. I have photographed stuff in aquariums quite a bit, but this new one is causing me problems. The tank has curved glass front corners, and I am wondering if the bending process has had a bad effect on the glass overall, photograhy wise I mean. Anyone ever struck this? Close up... Hello, I have encountered an unpleasant event. My 64gb sd stick from my camera has failed and all my photos are gone. The card is no longer readable on the camera. When I connect the card to the PC it shows up as empty and asks for formatting. After a bit of googling, I realised that you need special software to recover photos. I even tried a few, but did not achieve the desired result ...... Does anyone know how to help me ..read more

Hello, Hopefully somebody can answer this for me because I am lost. Every time I upload a video to YouTube it uploads in low resolution. I looked everywhere in options and couldn't find anything.
