I was so excited to finally get my hands on The Difference Between Someday and Forever. I had big expectations for the conclusion of the gripping Difference Trilogy. Perhaps too big. The second book ends on a heart-stopping cliffhanger, and the story picks up moments after. Totally Folked is the first book in the Good Folk: Modern Folktales series, and it took me completely by surprise in the best possible way. The first book in a series usually sets the tone, and Totally Folked is far more entertaining than I expected. This is a fully character-driven story. Rifts and Refrains is the second book in the Hush Note trilogy about a famous rock band. Each book is written by a different author and centers around a different band member. Rifts and Refrains is the story of Quinn, Hush Note’s drummer, and Devney Perry does an excellent job of giving us a second chance rock star romance in a small town setting. I really liked this second-chance bodyguard romance, but the audiobook narration for Code Name: Genesis took my enjoyment to the next level. The story strikes a good balance between danger and romance. Kynan is the head of a security firm and Joclyn is the famous singer/actress/ex-girlfriend he is hired to protect from a stalker. Say You Want Me was a perfectly fine, middle of the road read for me.  You need to be in the mood to escape in order to enjoy this story because some of it is unrealistic. In a heartbeat, Wyatt goes from being adamant that he’s not the father of Angie’s baby to wanting to marry her. I thought Angie’s rules about not having sex and no kissing were rather silly.
