WAXX!’s new track “LSD.TV” is a captivating track of fuzzy psychedelic rock that offers a unique take on the impact of mainstream media and commercial TV on our society. Hailing from Norwich, this single is an exciting release from the band on Catch 21 Records. WAAX! draw inspiration from 90s bands like Space and The Cardigans, as well as the production style of William Orbit, known for his work on tracks like “Pure Shores”.
The song’s lyrical theme highlights the hypnotic and sometimes detrimental influence that mainstream media and television can have on our lives. It reflects the idea that ..read more

A brand-new single from fuzzy psychedelic six-piece WAXX!. How can you say no?
Jumping straight into the song, after 20 seconds of what could almost be construed as soulful acoustic rock music, you are suddenly vaulted into an intense wall of psychedelia.
An impressive level of intricacy has been crafted into the texture of ‘Vampires’. With ‘nostalgic house piano tones, swirling trippy guitars, pounding bass and a backbeat filled with big fills, bongos, and tambourines’, every corner you turn there’s a new sound to twig your ear. It’s more than obvious that the band has really put effort into ..read more

Here at RGM we headed down south to Sundown Festival this year to see what all the hype was really about.
Located and built around Norfolk Showground, the fest is graced with multiple DJ tents (one of which is hosted by Jägermeister) and the long anticipated MainStage in collaboration with Kiss FM.
Neon jumpsuits, open shirts and rave goggles flood the usually quiet Showground as people prepare for what the Saturday has to offer.
First on the roster was Jamaican superstar Amaria BB- her stage presence incredibly uncanny. The audience grew as she took the stage and hyped festival goers up, w ..read more

There is no higher privalige than to receive music from all over the country, today we have the new video from Norwich band Floral Image and Dial in. Here is some info on the video from the band. Enjoy.
The song is about letting go, getting in a field with your mates and being wild and free – this is psych take on acid house. The brief for the video was to make it as much like the intro credits to Malcolm in the Middle and I think we’ve just about nailed it. We rode a steam train at the seaside and the train’s name was Howard – this historic train track no longer exists and neither does Howard ..read more

Hiya folks thanks for joining us in the virtual RGM lounge today, grab a brew and take a seat.
What made you decide to start the band ?
Fergus – Probably the rather self aggrandising insistence that we could probably curate a better evening of live entertainment than most of the bands we were paying money to see in our late adolescence. That and just having a valid reason for being photographed with a Rickenbacker.
Jack – My dreams of becoming a professional footballer are fading, so being a musician was the next best thing. That and the fact me and Ferg felt that we should probably do s ..read more
