In this week's sermon, we explored how the priesthood involves mediation between God and humanity.
Historically, priests offered sacrifices on behalf of people. However, human mediators cannot fully communicate God's presence due to the limitation of sin--our own selfish and self-destructive attitudes, actions, and affections.
Jesus--as both the perfect mediator and only fully effectual sacrifice--dealt with sin through his death and resurrection.

In a confusing world of conflicting messages, the Apostle John offers real, concrete answers to the fundamental questions we must answer to move forward together in life:
What is love? How I know Iām on the track? What is the truth? How do I know the truth? And how do I know God is with me?

How many sheep in the church today have corrupt shepherds misled through oppression and neglect?
Ezekiel 34 condemns the wicked shepherds of Israel who abused their sacred calling to guide God's people, leaving the flock oppressed and defenseless. The Lord Himself intervened as the Good Shepherd incarnate.
