Today I sent off the manuscript for Book 3 of The Last Paladin to Aethon Books! Three down, and three more books in the series to go! Also… for the first time in public, here is the final cover for Book 1 of The Last Paladin! I think it turned out really well! Kudos to the artists they worked with! It’s Christmas Day and here’s the December update. The manuscripts for Books 1 and 2 of Last Paladin are off to Aethon Books. The cover for book 1 is done and they should be reaching out to me about the cover for book 2. I’m almost done with my rewrite for Book 3, so I should be sending that off to them shortly. Book 6 of Last Paladin is coming along nicely. I’m just under the halfway point for the book but am having to take a little break in order to do the editing for the Book 3 manuscript. So far, it’s looking pretty good! Can’t wait to see the final cover! In the meantime, NaNoWriMo has started and I am writing more in Book 6 of The Last Paladin and Book 1 of That Time I was Reincarnated as a Short Order Cook, a semi-slice of life LitRPG using the MythCraft rules (or a slight variation thereof). I just sent my first draft of The Last Paladin to Aethon. From there it’s into editing (I think), then I’m sure a bunch more steps, but as they say: A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step! Can’t wait to actually see it published. I am closing in on the end of book 3 for the new Last Paladin series. Once it’s done and edited, I will be doing a rapid release of books 1-3. It will be one book a month for the first 3 books. During that 3 month span, I should have plenty of time to edit and re-write book 4. If that goes as expected, it should actually be 4 books in a row released on a monthly basis. After trying to write two series at a time and hold down a very demanding full time healthcare job – combined with some linger effects from COVID-19 (twice!), I had to take a little break.
