I'm having a hard time finding videos online about the power steering cooler that is apparently built in to the AC condenser. As you can tell, there is ATF fluid everywhere on the engine it's abhorrent. Mechanic said do the O-Rings on those two quick disconnects first because there was fluid puddling on the top of the disconnect bracket but then again there's fluid puddling everywhere and so I'm trying to figure out how the hell to get them apart but I want to make sure they're not transmission lines first.. Having to fill PS reservoir every hundred miles then 50 mi. Was idling allot yest ..read more

Help! 2005 Just Overheated- not sure what to do?

2005 Expedition - 165k Miles on it, had a new engine at about 90k (used engine had like 65k on it at the time I think?) I live in AZ- it's 118* outside. Sitting in the drive thru line idling for about 10-15min, started hearing some noises, smelling radiator fluid, ac not blowing as cold... then warning sound and 'Check Gauges' warning light came on. The Oil Temp light was pegged hot. Pulled off and popped the hood- reservoir cap had blown off, and sprayed coolent all over the hood (the RESERVOIR, not the radiator cap itself). I let it cool down for about 30min, added 2.5gal of drinking water ..read more

2021 auto stop eliminator

Hi all, I'm looking at getting an auto stop start eliminator for a 2021 Expedition and all the videos I'm watching say for this year you need the one that plugs into the back of the button harness. One thing I've noticed in the videos is that they all have one large button over the screen for the auto stop start disable function. Whereas my expedition has two smaller buttons where one is to activate the 360 camera function. Does anyone know if the auto stop eliminator will work with this as well? I'm worried the additional button changes the harness interface. submitted by /u/hardsoft [visit ..read more

I hear this on cold starts on my way to work. Anybody have any thoughts? It’s a nasty kind of rattling. submitted by /u/soloborn [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have read about a Ford Smart pass that you plug into the truck to let you have access to remote start and other things through the Ford Pass app. Is that still available? submitted by /u/deltaboy3 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Who’s fixed these issues and was it an easy fix of simply swapping out both wheel speed sensors? That’s how it was on my Cruze so I’m hoping it’s similar on this vehicle. Any info is greatly appreciated! submitted by /u/A-S-ISO_Man [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Headgasket repair

In 2020, I purchased a 2013 Expedition. About a year and a half ago, I noticed that the engine would occasionally overly hot, but then the issue seemed to stop. Recently, I took the vehicle to my mechanic for some other maintenance and a possible tune-up. He suspects that I may have blown a head gasket, which could be causing the heating. My oil thermostat has been at 3/4 for as long as I can remember. My concern is about the difficulty and cost of repairing a head gasket. The mechanic mentioned that he is hesitant to take on a repair like that, and it could potentially cost thousands of doll ..read more

I'm considering purchasing a 2019 Ford Expedition Limited with 101,000 miles for $23,000. I'm interested in this SUV because it offers more space than my current 2016 Tahoe. Are there any specific issues I should be aware of with this model? Additionally, can I expect it to last for over 200,000 miles without encountering major problems? submitted by /u/Krzysztoffff [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Before I try to query the internets, is there an upgrade to the subwoofer on the B&O system? It just won’t keep up with my demands and clips hard a few songs in. I’m not doing anything crazy, but I like bass heavy music. submitted by /u/jzclipse [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
