I've played off and on since the game released on Switch. I started a new game when 1.6 came out because I'm silly and didn't realize Switch hadn't updated yet. Hi, I've made a modded map with my friend and everything seems to work just fine for me but for him, once he tries to go into the town he usually crashes right as he enters the bus part.
