I loved meeting this sweet family a couple of weeks ago when they were down in the area dropping their oldest daughter off at college. What a gorgeous night and family, right? I love families who come here to vacation together and make time to get family photos done together. I was so happy to get to the beach this May. Apollo Beach photos are always fun and I have had quite a few maternity sessions there over the years, too. It is typically not the busiest beach in the area, but the new viewing platform and longer hours until sunset year round definitely makes it an easier to get to beach for those of us on this side of the bay for sure. I feel so lucky when I get to document milestones at this age. 10 year olds don’t always get their own photo session. I know as kids get older, maybe we start only doing the once a year update the family photo session, and that is amazing, too. But I still feel like it is important to fill in the “in between” years of childhood. So many people get that first year of photos, then maybe two and three, and maybe into kindergarten, and then it feel like sometimes we skip to 15 or 16 or maybe even all the way until high school graduation to document our kids on their own.
