The cash-based medical practice isn't the best model in healthcare but it's the best one we have. Look, you can make it super complicated or you can just get it done and move on. My girlfriend just had her visit iwth a specialist who is cash-based, meaning he charges cash and takes no insurance. Really great experience and for $500 per hour it was a good deal for my partner to get good quality care.
