I have a 2015 Sierra 2500 with about 150k miles. The last few months it’s been riding rough throwing out a P0420 error for my cats to be replaced. I took the truck into to be diagnosed and parts ordered. All was fine. Mechanic calls me to tell me “truck does not fit on lift or bay so they cannot fix the cat or exhaust.” I have it towed elsewhere, the new mechanic claims my engine and motor are blown. I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500. I am on my 4th set of aftermarket headlights from Amazon. I can't find ANY that are worth a damn. I'm in the market for a Sierra and was prepared to go look at a 2023 desert sand metallic AT4 (with 7k miles) tomorrow.... but someone bought it yesterday. After some research, I discovered that color was discontinued for 2024. Furthermore, I've seen that GMC is discontinuing both dynamic blue and deep bronze for 2025. So the only remaining color that isnt black/white (or something in between) is red. Surely GMC replaces those colors, right? Question. I am past my data trial and I’m trying to download offline google maps for the google nav. It doesn’t seem to download when I’m connected to my home wifi, and is always just stuck at 0% downloaded. Do I need to keep the truck on to get it downloaded or will it do it when it’s off like a system update? Will it download from a wifi connection? Everything I’ve read seems to say it should. I’m going to try and hotspot my phone to the infotainment on the way home to see if it downloads. Has anyone had this issue and have a solution?
