With all the great safety features on a Tesla, why not this? My 7 year old Mazda has it and it's great! When backing out of a driveway or parking space it senses any vehicles coming from either side b4 you can see them ..read more

360 park assist

So I've been wondering about this for a while. Other brands have this feature where they use the cameras to create a top down 360° view of the car and it's immediate surroundings to help you park in tight spots. Why doesn't Tesla offer this? My Model 3 can render other cars as generic 3D models, but it's in no way safe to use for parking. It's highly inaccurate, and the other cars even skip back and forth and disappear. In my view, a Tesla with all it's high end cameras mounted all around... Read more ..read more

Folks, have by any chance Tesla with the latest updates making the customer not run the Batt Health Test in Service mode? The reason being I had purchased this car in March 2023 and before to end of 2023 had around 2.5k miles on the car. I was recommended by few of tesla online users to run a battery test as there some notorious issues many faced with Tesla with quick degradations. I followed the steps to get into service mode then and started the health test. Couple of times it failed... Read more ..read more

Pyro Fuse

A buddy of mine had his Y rear-ended and it was hard enough to blow the pyro fuse. This bricks your car and and leaves you with about 20 minutes of screen time before the 12V gives out. It was a hit and run which he caught on the front cam as the mini Cooper sped past him dragging its fender and shedding parts. He learned a few things and I thought I'd pass them along and maybe pick up some other suggestions. First, call 911 so that an officer can get out there and offer any assistance... Fine with the "no stalks" approach, but steering wheel buttons and touchscreen are just plain crazy.

I'm super happy with the idea of removing the stalks, but not with the execution. The alternative conceived by Tesla so far is everything but intuitive. First, it takes a while to realize the obvious: the designer apparently aimed to preserve the same directional logic of the stalks (wait, this comes back later) while stacking the left-right arrows on the left of the wheel. Wouldn't it be more obvious placing them side by side? Yes, and the number of times you will flash cars instead of... Read more ..read more

Garage/valet key card use

Hi folks, I guess something more could be done on the software side for leaving Teslas in supervised garages, besides Valet mode. First of all, why can't a card be associated to Valet mode? I have 4 of them, and I had to create an empty profile for Valet use, independently of the Valet mode. Besides, what happens if you leave the car on the charging slots (Highland) at all times when parked in the garage? Will it remains open? Normally they guys there leave the key on the windshield in... Read more ..read more

Windshield wipers with autopilot

Have you ever tried spraying cleaning liquid while you're on autopilot while on the highway at high speed? Since the car hasn't got a front bumper camera and only relies on the windshield ones, you'll have to keep it under control, because the autopilot won't be able to keep it straight. Very dangerous and not very human-like... you would be perfectly able to keep it on track without autopilot ..read more
