Cooling fan not running but temperature is normal

1.6 16v VTI 120 hp, Temperature is on the gage is ~90c and does not creep up at idle, however, the fan does not come on and the A/C clutch does not engage. The fan and fuse are good, as I unplugged the coolant temperature sensor and the fan came on high. I have a new temperature switch and fan resistor on order but now I’m beginning to think it may just be the A/C is low on refrigerant and the fan has always just came on because the auto A/C kicks the compressor on even when using the heater ..read more

So my 2010 Peugeot 207 Sport VTi has been leaking for 6 months and despite two coolant system pressure tests two mechanics couldn't find it. After just opening the tank to do my usual refill. I noticed the leak (likely because its got worse like any leak may do). I have attached a picture. Its directly under my coolant tank where the hose connects to the tank. What should I do? the only related part I can find to buy is the actual hose. Is there a temporary solution till I get to a garage... Coolant leak from right under expansion chamber ..read more

Hi folks. I've made my introduction and I have a question for the forum. I have bought this lovely car for my daughter and looking around it I find a media connector in the glove box. I can't imagine that this is a factory fitment so I'm wondering if anyone can identify a likely make? Where would it typically be connected? Also what is the round dial thing on the glove box wall? Is it just a vent to send heating/cooling air to the glovebox from the AC duct... 2008 Peugeot 207 media connector in glove box ..read more

Hydraulic clutch?

Hi everyone. Recently bought a 207 cc (2010 1.6 vti) and very slight notchiness going into gear. Decided to 'bleed' the clutch slave cylinder as a starting point. According to my Haynes, all 207's have hydraulic clutch. Yesterday ripped out airbox, battery, resonator box, etc, etc to get to said slave cylinder. Darned if I can find it. Took loads of pix with flash on phone. uploaded to my comp and examined them carefully. There is definitely no slave cylinder that I can see. Is the Haynes... Hydraulic clutch ..read more
