Hi All The 80 amp alternator on our 2008 207 needs replacing ( bearings and bushes worn out) so I purchased a new unit this morning but I mistakenly bought the 120 amp which looks to have the same mountings and connections. I have an 06-plate 1.6 HDI Sport 207. A few weeks ago I was driving locally when it seemed difficult to select first gear or change gear. By the time I got home a couple of miles later I couldn't get it into gear at all and had to push it. Here's the complete background: Parked the car outside for a couple of days (in some very cold weather) to carry out a replacement of rear silencer exhaust mount and associated band strap. Hi my son has a 56 plate 207 1.6 petrol 80000 miles. the battery has been replaced recently. What is happening is the 25 amp starter control fuse keeps blowing so car will not start. on replacing the fuse it behaves fine for a while then it blows again. Any help would be appreciated. Hi everyone really hope someone can help before I get ripped off. I've had my 207 for 2 years it's a 2008 1.4 16v vti Prince engine , a few months ago the engine management light came on with the usual anti pollution fault message on the display, the error code it has thrown up is P11A8. On the Peugeot 207 1.6 CC has anyone managed to successfully to remove this sensor? I've had two attempts now, bought the specific O2 socket and still can't get it out.
