I know there are a lot of Vertical vs. Race posts here, and I read quite a few of them. My question, though, is that I'm using this watch mostly for ski touring, apart from the regular day-to-day metrics and training. How is the display on each of them in bright sunshine up on glaciers? Apart from longer battery life, is there anything I would be missing on the vertical if I go for the race? Are the maps, accuracy, etc, exactly the same? Hello there. I've had my Suunto Vertical Titanium watch since August 2023 and everything has worked well with little to no issues up until some time in January or February this year. Since then I've been having issues connecting my watch with the Suunto App on my phone (iOS). I've tried unpairing and repairing the watch to the phone multiple times. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Suunto App multiple times. But nothing seems to work. Hi, I have a Suunto Vartical Solar Titanium (latest software) and got mine around Christmas. I had issues with extremely fast battery drainage even when not using the watch (sometimes more than 15% in a single night without wearing it), so i got in touch with the customer service and they provided a replacement unit. This one worked fine since then for the first 2 (maybe 3rd) charging cycle but now i observe the same behavior: when under 50% i see an (what I feel) abnormaly high battery drainage: on one night the battery dropped from around 45% to 32%, just last night it dropped from 28% down ..read more

My Ambit3 Peak strap cracked and I did not feel like investing in a new one fir such ancient technology watch is a good idea so l made mg own with elastic band and camlock buckle. Hello, I’ve had the Race since release and the running estimate and lactate threshold (found under the progress widget) have always said “Record at least 3 outdoor runs to get insights” despite having hundreds of runs recorded with the watch now. Hi all, I have a question about using the ruler in a map WHILST in a sport mode (i.e. trail running). Is it possible to use touch screen to navigate around the map?
