here's an summary of my issue with Hyundai Veloster 2013: Problem description: the steering wheel locks for 1 to 2 seconds, and the car makes a sound as if it has powered off. The car experiences weaker performance and a "juddering" effect. The issue occurs mostly when the car is making a right turn, even when idle or not pressing the accelerator. Hi all I just bought a 2014 Hyundai verloster three door hatch back with a sun roof .. I bought it from a car yard and they said that the side mirrors weren’t part of the roadworthy.. Motor over heated so head warp. Got the car at Ford, the had Hyundai put in a used motor, failed after 32 days; pits, scouring, grooves in the cylinders leaking oil. The car is a rolling chassis now. I want to stay away from the 1.6 motors, I'm looking for older motors with high output, would love a v-8 or smaller diesel. I thought I had completed the latest I would see since I was told by Hyundai, some models have become ineligible for Blue-link since the 3 and 4G cellular days are long gone. Hi, brand new member here in search of help. I have a 2015 turbo whose engine needs replacing after the 2nd and 4th cylinders lost compression. I'm willing to pay my mechanic to swap out the bad engine for a "new" one that I've found online, but I'm hesitant to buy any of them because they all say that they're for engines whose 8th digit VIN number is either D or E. The odometer for the mileage ,Speedo , tachometer, fuel gauge trip 1 and two along do no work no digital mileage counting at all .. I’ve reset the battery.
