I saw a news article today that includes all model years of the Veloster N concerning a HPFP recall. The story said that there would be a software update for the ECU and the pump would be inspected and replaced if necessary. It said the notices would start to go out in mid-September. We shall see ..read more

Pierburg bov solenoid sxth

Well... its on there. Thays my verdict. I put on the Sxth element bov solenoid and I see no difference in reduction of flutter. There were also no install instructions but matching each hose lole the factory one seemed easy enough. The bracket is shorter than factory one so I pretty much had to install it upside down and loop the hose around that was initially 1 inch long. Mayne I suck at installs but so far I'm kinda displeased with it and was expecting a more crisp "PSSHHH!" Out of my bov... pierburg bov solenoid sxth ..read more

Good Morning/ Afternoon everyone, I’m officially getting my car wrapped this week and getting my seats in soon. Although I’m switching to harnesses in the new seats was wondering if anyone knows which harness bar to get? I’ve seen on Braum they have universal fitting ones but two different sizes. Would anyone know which one is the one to go with? Let me know thank you! Seats are also NRG seats and harnesses are 5Pt braums ..read more

VN Vacum Leak

I bough a VN 2022 and it seems like the preovious owner had this intake manifold fitting broken (the line leads to solenoid), I think he tried to glue it back on. For the looks of it the glue did not hold out much longer, because it’s spewing air constantly and it makes a noticeable hiss sound when you get out of the car. Does somebody know how to fix this? I really dont want to buy the whole intake manifold for this stupid fitting! its absurd. Does anyone have any repair suggestions ..read more

im a lil concerned about the turbo flutter on my engine.i installed the turbosmart BoV and AEM intake and the amounts of turbo flutter baffles me when i lay off the gas at high rev. As far as i had understood flutter is bad for turbo but what really has me doubting myself is that ive seen videos of the engine fluttering just by taking the factory intake cover off.... Id appreciate any coments or advise as to if i should do something or if its fine -Alex ..read more

7/16 ADD W1 oil catchcan issue

7/23 update: I talked to a performance shop and got some braided hoses put on for the catch can. Still using the check valves from add w1 and 2 days on it, so far so good. The hoses they provided seem to be hella soft and collapsed under vacuum and this heat in lousiana. Issue resolved for now. Update: so I found this link and yeah I'm pretty sure the 3.3 version of the can is a bust. Hopefully ADD W1 works with me and either gives me a refund or what I would like is the 2 port "normal"... 7/16 ADD W1 oil catchcan issue ..read more

Hi there, this is my 1st time in here and was wondering if someone in here can help me with some issues im experiencing... I'm from Australia and have a 2013 Veloster Turbo and I'm having problems with changing the time...I've done everything I possibly can (going into Settings etc...) but it won't do anything when I want to press on the screen to change the time (it will however let me go from 12 to 24hr time by pressing on the screen)...I'm thinking it's a Clockspring issue as the right... Intercooler: Depo vs Sxth v1.5
Veloster N Forum

What are ya'lls thoughts on the two different designs the for over all effectiveness: The Depo has a smaller/factory sized overall front surface area but a much deeper profile along with the tank inlets being relatively centered theoretically allowing for higher flow but the smaller/factory sized overall front surface area would result in less heat exchange. The Sxth v1.5 has a much larger surface area but the over all depth is shorter, along with the tank inlets being offset on one end... Intercooler: Depo vs Sxth v1.5 ..read more
