The Kia EV3 will be revealed later this month (23rd May) – and it has been previewed with a number of teaser images. A set of very closely cropped teaser photos of the production EV3 released with the announcement showed it looking much like the EV3 concept, with KIA pointing out that it carries over the boxy rear bumpers and boot plus the so-called Star Map lightning theme. I have just got a new Niro EV4 (changed from E-Niro) One thing that is annoying me is the navigation display that insists on offering me a "Work" destination option. I am fortunate to have retired so I dont have a workplace. I know I could program another favourite destination into this slot but I would prefer to delete it or rename it. I bought a new-model Niro 4 hybrid in September with 18in wheels. It replaced an old-model Niro 3 with 16in wheels. With my old model I was getting mpg in the low/mid 60s, often 70-plus. With my new Niro I’m averaging mpg in the low 50s – or less – driving the same roads in the same way in the same eco mode. Obviously the tyres on the 18in wheels are lower profile with a wider footprint. The 16in tyres on my old Niro were energy-savers with a narrower footprint. And I’ve noticed mpg is a little lower in winter. But can the difference in tyres alone account for the inferior mpg I’m getting? Als ..read more

Hi folks, This is my first post on this forum, I'm hoping for some help from the community. A couple of times recently I have needed to fast charge my Niro EV. On both occasions when I have wanted to stop the charge using the app I have been unable to do so. It just says an error has occurred and does not stop the charge. The second time was even more worrying as the charger also had the emergency stop blanked off.
