Long story short: I think charging the Niro EV to 100% over charges the 12V lead acid battery. This prevents the vehicle from starting, throwing out "Check EV System" on the dash. I wouldn't call it a solution but I found a workaround. Long story long: Per Kia's recommendation for battery health, I charge the car to 80% daily from a Level 2 charger. Hello everyone, I have serious issue with infotainment system. Long story short I accidentally turned valet mode on my e Niro with Kia connect, and now I can't turn it off. Kia connect is acting up since, showing all sorts of different error messages. I think I've been taken to the cleaners by the dealer. I booked my first routine service at 13,000 km. When I dropped it off he said the EV service is $490. It includes cabin air filter and brake service. I told him I did not want the cabin air filter because the car is 6 months old. I question him on the brakes and he went off about well if they are not used very often with the regen then they need to be serviced once a year.
