My wife and I have had our VF8s for over a year now. We have been very patient with the numerous faults, software issues and hardware issues we have encountered. After over a dozen tech visits and multiple trips to the service center, our patience has run out. Some friends have suggested we go to a law firm that handles cars with numerous issues like this (Lemon Law Lawyer). Have any of you other VF8 owners had an experience good or bad seeking a lemon law lawyer?
I have also heard some...

There are great things about this vehicle that many competing EV's do not even offer. But mainstream doesnt realize this. Because they are still stuck on the flood of negative reviews from last May, which were based on a totally stripped down CITY edition which doesnt hold a candle to the VF8 of today. Shame because those first impressions still influence the rep for the current VF8 Plus which is so wrong .

Vinfast have begun calling around offering the FRS 9.6.1.13 software update.
Allegedly fixes the occasional "one LOUD speaker" bug, which is almost the only bug that ever actually bugs me these days.
No idea what else it might fix.
Unfortunately I can't take mine in (STILL no OTA?) until mid-May.
If anyone else gets upgraded, share your observations!
Cheers

I started a new thread a couple weeks ago about my recent and first road trips with the VF8. It was mostly positive, but I was hoping to get tips from others about the public charging networks as that's where I had some issues with. Just came back here to check for replies only to find out that the thread is missing or deleted by an admin/mod. I know it was posted for at least a short time because I did get a thumbs up from @NoseyNick. Now I've heard that Vinfast strongarms...

We completed our first road trips with the VF8 this past couple weeks, one from the Bay Area to Yosemite Valley and another from the Bay Area to Santa Barbara. Overall, it handled both trips well with range inline with expectations (about 10% less than rated). Maybe I'm spoiled with Tesla's superchargers, where it's literally plug 'n play with no apps, credit cards or what not to deal with. You simply plug in and it immediately stars charging. Fast! With the Vinfast we stopped at EA and...

I used a trickle charger for my previous EV's. With home trickle charger used to get about 7-9 km added range per hour.
But with the VF8 finding it to be only 4.5 km range per hour. Far far less. Can that be fixed in a software update ..read more
