We have a 1991 500SL (clean title, ~130k miles) that stopped running a while back and my dad got sick of working on it. He parted much of it out and now wants me to get rid of the car. I recently bought a 2018 S560 with around 22,000 miles. The car was checked out by our Mercedes dealership and had no issues according to the dealership. When I drive the car, I’m hearing an intermittent (of course) squeak/clicking sound. it seems to come from the rear passenger area. It seems to be worse on rougher roads. It does not increase or decrease with speed of the car. It starts around 30 mph. I think it’s probably suspension related since it seems to be triggered by slightly rougher roads. I'm having an issue with my car shutting off while I'm driving. I've changed the crankshaft position sensor, MAF sensor, spark plugs and wires, fuel pump, filter and fuel pump relay. 2001 S 500 120k miles It recently started having some electrical issues. First, the auto-door lock/unlock system and the remote and the trunk opener stopped working. Next the radio (original) stopped making sound but still turns on and functions otherwise. Yesterday it went into limp mode and displayed a BAS ESP and Airmatic warnings as well as the Check Engine light went on. In an effort to replace wiper blades I pulled the aim back as much as I can. In doing so I accidently got the tension spring unhooked (don't know how it got loose) from the arm head. Now I have difficulty to get the hook back as it was because I am unable to pull the spring enough - with a long nose plier - to get the hook on again, even with the arm off the motor housing.
