Cross posting.. since there appear to be two Model X subreddits..
Replacing original Continentals.. went to Discount Tire to pick up either Pirelli WeatherActive or Michelin CrossClimate 2.. but ended up with the Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3.. and these tires seem too loud compared to what we had on the car (the Continentals).
Question I have is.. Are the WeatherActive or CrossClimate any quieter?

So I’m about to do a full PPF on my model X and I asked if the trim was included and they said for an extra $350 they would do the trim. Do people normally PPF the trim or just the painted body panels?

Based on the original range (deliver Nov to Jan and then Oct 30 to Dec 15) I really thought I was getting a 2024 VIN.
Awoke this morning to a 2023 vin assigned. I am assuming 2024s are probably hitting the production line as early as this week or next.
I am in no rush. I would prefer 2024 vin just for the resale.
What would you do? Any other pros and cons I am missing? I understand i can pass on one car before order is void, how do I go about “passing” on this vin?

What's a typical mileage on new deliveries? Picking up a new MXP today and the agreements show 15 miles. Do new vehicles get used for test drives? 15 seems excessive for any testing at the factory. And I live very close to the plant. Wonder if they drove to the showroom?

It'll be this week! Original date range was 16 Oct - 12 Nov.
I also had to accept a notice that with the change to vision from uss, with fsd, i won't have auto park or summon capabilities, but it will exist soon.
