Visualization for the bending process
We already spoke before about how the digital environment and instruments can help during the manufacturing process with your press brake. In general, we are speaking about bending, but the same story could be true for any other manufacturing process.
We are working with bending tools, so we can explain how it was, for example, 30 years ago. The drawings of tools were made in scale 1:1 or bigger with a millimetrical grid, so you could take the drawing of the punch you want to purchase and try to draw it inside the part you want to bend to check the absence ..read more

Today we have a new article about press brake applications and functions. We would like to make some notes on what nontypical is possible to do on the press brake if it is equipped with the proper units.
For sure we know the press brake as the typical machine tool to perform sheet metal bending and it is the main, general, and primary operation for it. But during the sheet metal fabrication, there are other various operations and we want to inform you about them also.
From this point of view, it is reasonable to look at the press brake as the main source of power and force with adjustable and ..read more

Any company that supplies press brake tools has a lot of requests for radius bending. And every project is difficult for us and difficult for the customer. To make some clarification and to show our recommendations and conditions of supply we need this article which we will send now directly to the customer if he will request tools from us.
What is radius bending
Radius bending is a special type of bending on press brake which requires the desired internal radius on the part. So in ordinary bending, the customer usually bends and has the radius based on the opening of the die. Moreover to tell ..read more

Well, let us consider that you are looking for a new industrial machine for your production – a new press brake. We would like to explain some principles and details for the potential sale and purchase. Probably it will be interesting to somebody who is looking forward to getting the new information. We already have some experience in used machine tools (we participated from the customer’s side as well as the seller’s side) and we can share also these things with you.
Well, we will explain about press brakes but the same main principles are valid for any machine tool.
A study of the budget

Today our new article is about press brake tool systems. This is important and interesting for potential customers who are looking forward to purchasing their first press brake and starting to learn the tube bending technology.
First, what main tooling systems are available for press brake tools?
The bending tooling system is the configuration of upper and lower holders, fixation places for bending punch and bending die to be used on the press brake. In other words, the clamping geometry of a particular punch and die is performed to be correctly fixed and used inside the holders of the press b ..read more

Dear All! All our customers, partners, colleagues, friends, and everybody else who browses about us on the Internet!
How it goes?
A lot of time we are answering this question like “not bad”, “could be better”, “everything is ok”, “better than average”, “so-so” etc.
We want to salute and congratulate all for the new upcoming year, wish to have a small rest and a nice celebration, and moreover wish that in the New Year 2024, we can reply about everything like
“It is perfect”, “Great”, “It couldn’t be better”, “Incredible fine”, “Outstanding!” so you will have all the things wonderful and ideal ..read more

Well, passed our visit to the industrial exhibition Blechexpo 2023 and we would like to share our experience and our impressions with you.
A little bit about the travel part
First is the small introduction – the train part from Italy was very bad so better to recommend to not use trains for travel now between countries (in particular Switzerland-Germany). There are several reasons – Deutsche Bahn hasn’t finished their railway construction works yet and canceled a lot of connections. Together with that, they had an accident and all trains were stopped between Basel and Karlsruhe. The service al ..read more

We made an article on robotic bending before but because we like this topic we would like to make a new one. Maybe we will repeat some thoughts but probably you can even do something new from it. Let us start from the beginning.
The robotic bending on the press brake is the process where the operator is replaced by the robot for the function of holding the parts, positioning the parts, feeding the parts, and taking them away after the bending. We will not discuss in this topic other possible functions like changing the bending tools by the robot because this function is also presented but not ..read more

We received the message from Feedspot that our blog is added to Top 90 Metal Fabrication Blogs. We like to stay in one catalog with The Fabricator and other reputable names we like. To tell the truth our blog is not the source to make any commercial promo, here we just make some links to our productions and try to explain more for the things we like. And unfortunately we do not have a time to make a real big and good blog, moreover with feeling outside and other authors. But we thank all our visitors and try to make also new articles and texts for you. We really hope that you can find somethin ..read more

The new process we would like to describe today is waterjet cutting. As we always noted – we are not connected with any machinery and probably are also not perfectly specialized in this process so some our our information could be not precise or requested to be better described by the real specialist.
First, let us describe the main part. Waterjet cutting is the process of cutting flat materials with a water jet supplied with high pressure. Usually, the process of waterjet cutting is used for applications with “soft materials” like textile, rubber, leather, foam, wood, probably some carbon fib ..read more
