As a photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing many special moments in people’s lives, but Peggy and Matt’s wedding weekend was truly an incredible experience. From the bridal luncheon to the Dallas Museum of Art wedding reception, every event was filled with love, laughter, and joy, and it was an honor to be able to document these meaningful moments for the couple. The bridal luncheon took place at Mercat Bistro on Friday afternoon, where Peggy’s closest friends and family gathered to celebrate the start of the wedding weekend. The room was filled with sunlight, laughter, and the c ..read more

DJI MINI 3 Drone Aerial of the Omni Frisco PGA Hotel in Texas. The brand new (so new it’s not yet open) Omni PGA Frisco Resort north of Dallas Texas is going to be pretty amazing. The developers have found land in North Texas that looks and feels like the Hill Country. I can’t wait for the full hotel to open, but in the meantime I was lucky to be able to work on a fun styled shoot with a beautiful couple using and showing off the amazing two championship golf courses on property. The property boasts several spaces both indoor and outdoor to host ceremonies and receptions.. Their website tells ..read more

Rosewood Mansion Dallas Wedding

How did I get to this wedding at the Mansion? The first wedding I ever photographed was in the fall of 2005. It was an incredibly warm day in Texas and the couple had an outdoor ceremony. It was so hot that a groomsman fainted at the altar and one of the parents sitting on the front row caught him. To be totally transparent, it just went okay. I did about as well as you might as expect for a brand new “photographer” at his first wedding and only his 3rd paid photography job ever. Looking back I don’t recognize that 20 year old kid with one camera, two lenses and about half of a clue. I also do ..read more

Loved my time with sweet Natalie and Ike down in the hill country for this Horseshoe Bay Resort wedding weekend. Laura Mayfield with Mayfield Designs absolutely knocked it out of the park! I love the way they incorporated both of their faiths with a dual religious ceremony with both a Jewish Rabbi and a Presbyterian Minister. The outdoor ceremony and reception spread out over the resort was a great place for us to capture some drone photography to show a different perspective – I really love looking for different ways to show the couples and families I work with their wedding moments. This summer I was honored to photograph a wedding at the newly reopened and remodeled Aspen Mountain Club on top of Aspen Mountain. The club is run through the team at The Little Nell and it’s such a fun space. I love the new colors! It has killer views and the food and drink service is really top notch. Every room has a great view, and while the space isn’t huge, it’s spread out well and flows to the patio and wedding deck. Everywhere you look has panoramic views of the beautiful mountains that surround the best wedding town in the Rocky Mountains. This wedding was put together by one of the ..read more
