My favorite thing about being an Austin Wedding Photographer is that most couples haven’t lived in Austin their entire lives, so their guests usually travel from other states to celebrate on their wedding day. Having all of your favorite people together in one place is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of event. So it’s a pretty exciting time. Taylor and Kevin’s Wedding at The Sanctuary Event Space in Austin was no exception.

Pari and Sean are my kind of people. Their wedding day honored the melding of their two cultures. This was complimented by a love for each other and the people they chose to surround them. It was so fun being a part of this stunning mix of Persian and Texan wedding traditions. Their loved ones traveled from all over the world to celebrate and you could feel how stoked everyone was! It’s tough to choose favorite moments from this multicultural wedding at Shiraz Garden, but these are some of them!

Being both your elopement photographer and elopement planner allows you to get married your way at your chosen pace. I do what I do so that days like this one are made possible! Baily and Zach’s elopement day was quiet and simple in all of the best ways. They wanted to spend quality time together ditching the structure of a traditional wedding without compromising a beautiful experience. That’s what we made happen at their Texas Hill Country wedding!

Providing both indoor and outdoor options with rain plan spots, this wedding venue really is the best of both worlds. Venue rental includes exclusive access to the entire grounds and it is placed conveniently just outside of downtown Austin. The venue is close enough to Austin for guests to stay in the city and make a weekend getaway out of the wedding experience. See the magic that I captured at this Camino Real Ranch wedding as a second shooter for Rebekah Paul Photography.

Remember that time when I said you don’t have to hike for miles or even drive halfway across Texas to find your wedding spot? This Austin wedding venue is one of those places. Located in Austin’s Eastside; Sekrit Theater is a wedding venue that hosts a beautiful antique greenhouse, retro school bus, and other unique features. Perfect for intimate weddings or two-person elopements, Sekrit Theater was the ideal setting for this couple’s vintage-styled fall wedding.

Pedernales Falls is one of my favorite state parks in Texas. I love the way the Pedernales River cuts through the limestone, giving a unique landscape for exploring, riverside sandy “beaches”, hill country views, waterfalls, and limestone caves. So I definitely understand why you want to get Married at Pedernales Falls!
Located just one hour from Austin or 30 minutes from Dripping Springs, Pedernales Falls makes for a wonderful elopement location! You get the beautiful landscape and adventure without needing to hike too far or travel out to the middle of nowhere.

When you decide to elope you have to make the decision between eloping just the two of you or inviting your closest friends and family members along for the adventure. For some, this decision is a no-brainer! But for a lot of people, it can be difficult to choose between the two.
Eloping with friends and family right by your side can be the most incredible experience. But it will have a direct impact on your planning, flexibility and overall experience in many ways. There is a lot to consider when deciding whether or not to bring people along for your elopement day. My goal is to equip you wi ..read more
