My F-150 has the premium 6 disc changer with cassette player. I wanted to replace the stereo with the same android stereo I recently put in my 2002 Ranger. I bought the proper Scosche harness adapter and was ready to go. My nephew offered to help, so when I went to the store he started taking the old stereo out. I got back to realize he had done something unusual. Instead of plugging the harness adapter into the present plugs, he cut the wiring harness at the plug. Pictured is what I need to replace. Hi everyone, My F150 is a 1995 302 V8 Automatic 2-wheel drive with 110,000 miles. The transmission started slipping so I pulled it out to have rebuilt. While it was out I noticed numerous engine oil leaks so removed the engine to do the gaskets and seals. Replaced the seals, gaskets, radiator, water pump, spark plugs, timing chain and engine mounts then re-installed. Once back together I noticed a vibration around 1200RPM that is only noticeable when in park / neutral and can't be felt when driving. I bought a 2021 F150 Lariat just before Christmas with about 50,000 kms and twice its been in the shop for repairs under warranty. First time at about 52,000 kms the engine light came on and again recently at 54,000 kms. Today the part was replaced and it had something to do with emission controls. So at 60,000 kms or end of June it will be out of warranty and so now i can't decide whether to spend the $2,899 plus tax for the extended warranty which would keep me covered to 120,000 kms or to 2031. My fuel Pressure reads 126 in the test mode on the dash. And I'm reading the normal is around 40. Any ideas on what causes that. I'm guessing it's the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail. There are no error codes and the check engine light is on. Thanks ..read more

I was replacing my bearing hub on the passenger side today and noticed a big gap on the sway bar link. Up top where it mounts to the bar. It don’t seem normal to me. I think it should be wedged with the rubber bushings. Any suggestions? I’ll try tightening it tomorrow ..read more

Greetings! My 2007 F150 with just over 355,000 miles up and quit on me! I’m hoping she’ll be on the road again soon but can’t figure out what the problem is. When I hit the ignition to ACC (before fully hitting the on position for testing purposes) all the lights on the dash do the normal thing and come on, the radio works, and I even tested the headlights and all is good to that point. Once I continue to the on position, there isn’t quite a click sound, but everything shuts off, and it’s like I unplugged the battery or something and nothing works or comes back on. This weekend we drove to the mountains (1-1/2 hr away) and got all the way there but as we entered and parked, it acted like it did not want to go in gear when I was adjusting in the parking space. I parked and seemed odd but nothing major felt out of place. We went to leave and I noticed fluid all on the ground and a trail from where we came in. Under the truck there was a ton of transmission fluid on the ground and it was leaking from the larger circle (drain) in the picture. I had it towed to the closest friends house for the time being.
