Hi, prior to this, my last posts were regarding a failure to update to the latest software. I tried everything I could. MapnSoft gave me a run around. I've been out of Canada the past 5 months but did download the latest version to my USB just before I left. As I suspected, there was nothing wrong with my USB, nothing wrong with the OS versions of my 2 PCs and 2 laptops. Everything wrong with the "old" version I tried to update to. I’m going to be buying a 2025 Ioniq 5 this year. I’m wondering if anybody has had any issues parking their car for an extended period of time (let’s say 2 weeks) in cold weather. We like to go away for a few weeks in the winter and park our car at an outdoor airport parking lot in below freezing conditions. Is it difficult to start in cold weather after sitting so long? I just bought a 2024 Ioniq 5 last Saturday (March 2nd, 2024). I don't have an outlet for level 2 charging installed yet (I am waiting for warmer weather, New Hampshire USA is still pretty cold in March). So will be relying on the 2-years of free charging from Electrify America for a couple of months. Well I just cancelled my 2024 order and moved it to a 2025 MY. Check out this video showing most notable improvements... Rear window wiper, bigger battery, no low conductivity coolant to name a few. Last week I had to make a 100 mile trip in my 2020 long-range RWD Ioniq 5. The weather was cold with temps in the 20’s. I had 148 miles of range when I set out, which one would think would be just fine to make that trip. But when I got home I had exactly 4 miles of range and 3% left according to the car.
