Hi everyone, Is there any shuttle service from Hertz/Avis to the terminals in early morning, say around 4am? I believe Avis at LGA is 24/7 so I would assume they have but could someone confirm? Hertz closes at 2am and opens again at 6am. Do they have shuttle service during those couple of off hours? Thanks ..read more

E line service to/from JFK

Apologies if this has already been posted. On Sunday, May 5, I took the E line to Sutphin Blvd to transfer to the airtrain. I was surprised to discover that at Sutphin Blvd, all escalators and elevators between the platform level and the ticket level were closed for renovation. This means that there is no handicapped access between those two points. It also means that everyone has to lug their bags up or down between the ticket level and the platform. Looked like the escalators and lifts were also closed between the E and J platforms. This was not a one day thing, it is for a full renovati ..read more

I'm supposed to pick up family members flying from Paris to JFK on Air France. I'm planning to wait at the cell-phone lot then head over to their terminal when they text me they're getting their luggage. I read that the international terminal is 4 but I also read that Air France lands at terminal 1 (including when looking up their ETA on FlightStats). Which is correct? What is the safest and most convenient way to transfer between these two airports? Just plain taxi? Uber? I am planning a trip to Europe leaving out of JFK (I am chasing after the LH747-400). Though I historically almost always flew DL (which flies to JFK), I thought I thought I would fly UA instead (which does not fly to JFK). I thought to myself that I might as well get all of my PQPs/ PQFs for the year. I'll have a backpack, roll aboard and at least one checked luggage in tow. Apart from taxi and Uber/ Lyft, is there a safe and convenient transfer service between these two airports? I thi ..read more

My partner and I are going on a cruise out of Cape Liberty in a few weeks and have NEXUS. We'll be flying via EWR and booked a flight around noon. From what I gather, United flies from Terminal C. Should we be concerned about a post-cruise influx of travellers or is precheck usually pretty quick still ..read more
