Hi, I'm looking to install a NextBase 222 front and rear and dash cam in my 2020 CH-R. Rather than go via the 12v route for power, I want the dash cam to be on 24/7 when parked etc. I have the 222 hardwire kit and there's an empty fuse slot on the board (passenger side). Theoretically it looks straight forward and I found a few posts from 2018 discussing piggy backing off some of the fuses which I don't understand tbh, so but before I start the installing process, I'd be grateful for any...

Swapped the 19" diamond cut wheels for a set from an Orange edition (18"), added Crossclimate 2 tyres at the same time.
Looks better (in my opinion) and rides better.

I wait report.Toyota say they do not wire to OBD. Any thoughts. Is the dashcam compatible with the CHR hybrid power system ..read more

Ordered my new C-HR Sport mid-March and was quoted 3-4 months delivery.
Queried this with Motorfinity today and they have accessed the dealers system which is now predicting August delivery at the dealership, so it’s slipped a month.
This is based on the ordered colour and spec with the caveat it might come sooner, but the date is fine as I have already sold my previous car and can manage with my wife’s Aygo until then ..read more

Our C-HR locking caused a major panic.
Baby in car seat, I got out of the driver's door and shut the door to walk around the the nearside rear door.
The nearside rear wouldn't open, so, I went to open the driver's door and it wouldn't open.
Tried pressing the open button on the fob. nothing happened. Car still locked with baby inside.
I took out the physical key and tried it in the driver's door, it wouldn't open the door. The central locking had locked up.
Luckily an RAC man was on the...
