Please Critique My Colombia Itinerary

We are headed to Colombia for two weeks, next September, party of two. I want to get the international flight tickets soon. I would like to know if you think this itinerary would work. We like to stay at nice hotels, take nice walks, but no vigorous hiking, zip lining, etc. Thank you! Chile - Atacama Desert to Patagonia

I'm planning a trip to Chile in March/April of next year for myself, my wife, and two kids (2 and 4). I'm looking at going down there for 2 weeks, flying in and out of Santiago. I'd like to spend at least 4 days in the Atacama Desert (we'd stay in San Pedro de Atacama) and at least 4 days in Patagonia (looking at Puerto Natales). Do you think this is enough time in each place? Is one place more kid friendly than the other? Any absolute, can't miss destinations within Chile? Hello, It looks like I will be in Columbia during the Barranquilla Carnival, so was thinking of checking it out. Has anyone done it before? Wondering if I should be staying right in Barranquilla or stay in Cartagena and take a bus in. Is it worth doing for multiple days or will 1 day be enough to get the Carnival experience.
